Every December, jurisdiction and clothing stores bring in a lot of new merchandise. It's one of the best times of the year to find great deals on nongrocery items, principally toys and clothing. When the New Year rolls around, stores can be stuck with leftover holiday inventory. Stores are ardent to clear out holiday decorations, Christmas tree trimmings and other equivalent seasonal items. Shelves are packed with new clothing and toys.

Local thrift store having hard time keeping up with clothing demand

"The thriftiness sales have of course stopped so people aren't bringing in so many donations, the stand sometimes has something to do with it. We do ask that customers still bring in gently used clothing, we need all kinds of clothing" says Mary... This gone Thursday Goodwill says they didn't have enough clothing in their stockroom and they had to call another store for more. Eau Claire (WQOW) - A regional thrift store says they're having a hard time keeping up with consumer for clothing.
